Help with breaking 3 way tie on binoculars - Leupold, Vortex and Athlon Optics (1 Viewer)

Hi everyone, as the title says, I'm not sure which binoculars to choose. I plan to do birding and sometimes sightseeing, so I want to replace some cheap knockoffs that I have.

The three options I have are the following:
Just need to clarify that I'm from Mexico, so my options are rather limited and all of the above cost almost the same to me. Any comments and experiences you've had with each brand would be greatly appreciated, and if you have advice for a begginer that would also be great. :)

I have no experience with any of these, but I can wholeheartedly recommend the Opticron Oregon 8x42 binoculars. They are available on Amazon for under $200. I had no problem yesterday keeping up with fellow birders yesterday on a field trip who were using high-end Swarovski and Zeiss binoculars and actually spotted more birds with my humble Oregons.

Bienvenido y buena suerte!

I would spend another $100 and get either a Nikon M7 8x42 or a Vortex Viper HD 8x42. Either, one is well worth the additional costs. If your budget is set in stone, I would go with the Vortex Diamondback 8x42 because it has the best warranty of the bunch and excellent reviews.

I wonder if Vortex and the other two companies honor the lifetime warranty if purchased in MX.

I would expect the Vortex Diamondback to provide the poorest image. Athalon optics are usually very good with respect to scopes but this may not carry over to their binoculars. I would check for online reviews by actual customers at places like BHphotovideo.com and Amazon in the USA.

I'd recommend buying the Athlon Midas UHD Gen 2 instead while on a minimal budget which are far superior optically compared to the three others you listed. Huge night and day difference in optical quality and comparable to at least the Vortex Viper HD and Nikon Monarch M7 for a lot less money.

The Athlon Midas UHD Gen 2 also have a wider than average field of view which most people would appreciate as well as a lifetime warranty.
