Is anyone familiar with this beastie? From memory it was 40-50mm. Photo taken early April on St Abbs Head, Berwickshire.

Hi there, just going through the backlog here, and I think you are as close as you will get calling it Black Arches. Looks a fairly good match, only hatching or a microscope and patience would confirm it though.
