Can I have help with these three birds seen near Bougainvillea hotel near San Jose today 10 May. No 1 possible Rufus Coloured Sparrow. No 3 possible Clay Coloured Thrush, not sure.

Note yellow bill on thrush (viz other threads). As you know CR has (e.g.) quetzal. So it makes sense that this thrush is the national bird... ...Obviously

They sing almost as gorgeously as blackbirds, and they're common. Makes perfect sense 👍🏻

Well I guess that's in the ear of the beholder. I wasn't impressed
