Here are the new modular Swarovski scopes (5 Viewers)

Horukuru, Congratulations on being one of the winners of Swarovski's favorite photos of July contest. I guess you won a Swarovski fleece jacket, that should be good where you live.;)

Hehehe thanks a lot my friend and I got to know about it too when I woke just now at Mt. Kinabalu. Windy and cold here! :king:

Hi Dale - can you tell us there are any plans for Swarovski to produce and iPhone adapter for the ATX? I have just brought the ATX system and I'm looking for an adapter to take pictures using my iPhone.

Jason:

A great picture, and it is good of you to share.

I get the Swarovski newsletter, and I see they have a competition for Digiscoper of the
Year. Those that enter photos are presented for the public to vote on.

I have not checked out the site yet, but I see voting ends on Oct. 21st.

Have you entered any pics?

Jerry

Jason,

Wow, these are amazing. When using the TLS APO adapter with the Nikon V1 I assume you just use the scope to focus? Do you have to you manual exposure as well?

Thanks

Is there a concise chart that shows actual focal length based on sensor size (e.g. Nikon V1, Sony Nex 6, Canon M, etc.) and magnification on the scope?
Obviously the apparent focal length goes up as the sensor size (crop) goes down.
Thanks for any links.

Can not decide between the ATX 95 or 85 myself. My main focus is observing. I usually traveling by bike. My current spotting scope is the Nikon ED 82 What would you advise me? How big is the difference ?

Thank

Matthias

I have the 85mm and if your birding by bike its more than enough scope.
It may not have quite the reach of the 95mm,but, its lighter and has a wider field of view. Also it is as bright at its lowest magnifaction ie exit pupil at x25=3.4. 95mm exit pupil at lowest magnifcation x30=3.16.And more compact too.
Go fot it!
