herefordshire mega! red throated pipit reported bodenham lake in flooded field at 4:30 with 20 pied wagtail. I'm onto it tomorrow!
 
sorry- post that says 6th april should say 6th may, I checked it out but no sign of the bird but 1 cuckoo heard

19th may: wellington gps
overcast, quiet

200 gulls mostly lbb
few herring
few bh
2 wheatear
1 yellow wagtail
3 pied wagtail

20th may: bodenham lake
sunny warm
4 common scoter I've decided i'll put any decent birds in bold...

cream coloured courser bradnor hill+ showing well per RBA!!

better still be there 15:30 tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
absolute knockout bird.....

also I had a possible ad summer rose coloured starling fly over the road(very brief view) near the basmati pub at swainshill, so if you're going that way(kington into hereford road) keep your eyes peeled!

just been alerted by the county recorder that there's a SIBERIAN STONECHAT at wellindton GPs this afternoon!!
 
any info on where to best view the siberian stonechat at wellington gps, thanks

sorry for not replying sooner, behind the hide is a big mound with lots of dead vegitation on which is where it was seen first.

when it was refound it was on a different mound which is just before the railway, if you want me to pm you a map of where i mean then let me know :t:

Hi there,am coming to herefordshire,Hope under dinsmore tomorrow (monday) and will have 7-8 hours in the area until my customers are ready.
Can you tell me a few good local sites and what may i expect to see,sorry for the lateness,only just realised i was going tomorrow,any help is greatly appreciated,thanks,rob
