Hi everyone, my names Alex, Im from the Sunshine Coast.
Recently been getting more interested in birds and birdwatching, and looking at the birds in my backgarden.
So just thought Iid say hello :)

I'm still very much an amature but I've been doing some birdwatching in my garden (backs onto bushland) and identifying some species I see.
I spend about half an hour each day watching two Forest Kingfishers flying to and from their nest, beautiful birds. And as some of you may have seen, Ive also been spotting Channel billed cuckoos (well hearing them) but this morning I was lucky enough to have a low flying flock fly straight over my head. One of natures rewards for me waking up at 5am :)
