I am a newbie to your forum but not new to bird study, I live in the County of Norfolk UK and birds are a big part of my life, I recently watched a nesting two Blue Tits out side of their intended home fluttering their wings intently, both were obviously excited and were to perform the same ritual on the eve of their babies departure from their nest, and sure enough next morning today 30/5/2021 they had departed safely.
I miss their constant toing and froing from their nest box and so searching for an explanation of the fluttering parents I cam across this interesting forum.
So there it is , Hi again to you all and kind regards Stuart
