I live in the UK ,am a wildlife lover and watch bird behaviour, how they behave and try to 'understand their language'
Something deeply sad occurred today , prompting me to search for answers, resulting in finding this forum.
Years ago, a cat caught a thrush; just before it died,it gave out a sad, beautiful song.It always stayed with me as it broke my heart.
Today ,a cat caught and fatally injured a thrush which declined rapidly.I put it in a quiet place to pass quietly with the smells and sounds it was familiar with...just before it gave up its soul,it sang a short, sad song...has anyone thoughts please?

Hi Pat and a warm welcome to you from all the Staff and Moderators.

How very sad. I've not heard of this before but maybe someone can shed some light on it.

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I look forward to hearing your news.

Hi and welcome to the forum. I think you will find us a friendly and helpful group. Sorry, but I can’t help with your question.
