ZEISS. Discover the fascinating world of birds, and win a birding trip to Columbia

Hi there from Veracruz (port) Mexico (1 Viewer)

This early morning ( sept 13, 2021), I have found a bird (similar to a heron) on the street.
It was being viciously attacked by a cat, I scared the cat away, and picked the bird up (it could barely move).
Will you help me ID this chick, please ?

Veracruz de Ignacio de la Llave, Mexico
Similar to a regular pigeon in size, gray and brown,

Thank you guys !

Hi Pipin and a warm welcome to you from all the Staff and Moderators.

Sorry, I'm not sure what this bird is, so I've moved your post to the ID forum. Someone will be along soon to help you I think.

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I look forward to hearing your news.
