Moved to Bribie Island, Queensland, Australia a few months ago and have been thrilled to see so many birds that I'd never seen before. Lots of Googling in an attempt to identify each new discovery. Look forward to seeing more birds here.

Hi Laurie and a warm welcome from me too.

I was lucky enough to visit Bribie Island twice in 2019 and had a wonderful time. I guess the stars for me were Beach Thick-knee on Kakadu Beach. And the hide at Buckley's Hole was great. I saw too many birds to mention here, but you can read about it on my trip report linked to in my signature.

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I hope to hear about all the birds you see when out and about.
