LRP I think, note yellow eye-ring, and maybe flesh coloured legs? Habitat might help too, Long-billed mostly on rivers.

Thanks, Sicklebill. I'm also inclined to think that it was a LRP. The location was neither a sea nor a river; it was a lake.

Location too of course is a bit tricky, the eyering is usually more prominent in Little Ringed Plover. That species is also smaller and more compact...usually.
