House Crow (Corvus splendens) or Large-billed Crow (C. macrorhynchos) ?

There was definitely a flock of Large-billed Crow (C. macrorhynchos) around, but with this bird I am not sure....

Thanks & regards

Well, it's not a House Crow. So yes, Large-billed Crow, if that's the only other crow in the region.

Looks like a juvenile from the brown neck feathering.

Does Large Billed Occur there?
I think it is a House crow with .....something wrong with the neck...moult..juvenile etc..

Large Billed would have a steeper forehead...

Checked up, the only other (non-House) crow in Sri Lanka is Indian Jungle Crow Corvus culminatus, recently split from Large-billed Crow :t:

Hi all,
Only the House Crow shows the plumage iridescences as in this photograph. Himalaya you must know House Crow well, do you think it is large-billed or jungle crow?
