One here too, though its no longer visible unless you have X-ray vision (being inside a Bonxie). 2 Pomarine Skuas ad and darkish juv loitering (with intent) and 10 sightings of Bonxies, with a minimum of three birds (in view at once). Hard to know how many are tracking back, becasue the wave troughs are so deep, I keep losing birds, otherwise heavy Kittiwake passage (175)

That time of year again. Its windy enough if there are any birds already in the Irish Sea... and its probably going to feed birds into the Irishsea if it keeps it up for a couple of days.

Jane, North Westerlies being forcast for the rest of the week with the strongest winds on Friday so it's looking good.

The weather forcast for today and tomorrow is now showing SOUTH WESTERLIES not North westerlies which was the forcast they (BBC) gave yesterday.

Think it is possibly worthy of a speculative punt tomorrow from New Brighton.
Winds increasing overnight turning slightly WNW through the morning.

Cheers

I'm off on the ferry from Fishguard to Rosslare and back. Usually a good bet for some seabirds and cetaceans.

Unfortunately I'm leaving this morning at 3am arriving at 6am and leaving tomorrow at 9pm back at midnight.

In and out to Enniscorthy for a funeral.

I'll have a seawatch of Cemaes on Sunday hopefully a bird or two then.

Got the opportunity to come over from West Yorks this eve. I appreciate guarantees can't be made but can I assume I'd be in with a good shout? My concerns being that the wind appears to be set drop around 6 (approx arrival time) and low tide late afternoon. With the tide in mind, I'm assuming New Brighton may be the best bet?

Cheers
