Huntington Beach Central Park Bird List for 12/3/2020 Somewhat in order of sightings.
1. Red Shouldered Hawk (2 or 3) Saw one fly overhead when I arrived. As I was leaving about two hours later, I heard and saw two. They were very noisy and agitated. Two flying together and landing together high in trees and screaming.
2. Red-tailed Hawk
3. Canada Goose
4. American Coot
5. Osprey
6. American Widgeon
7. Mallards
8. Green Teal
9. Glossy Ibis
10. Snowy Egret
11. Common Yellowthroat
12. Egyptian Goose (pair)
13. Bush Tits
14. Double-crested Cormorant
15. Yellow-rumped Warbler (lots and lots)
16. Japanese White-eye
13. Ruby-crowned Kinglet Saw five. One was showing it's crest. Beautiful!
14. Orange-crowned Warbler
15. Ring-billed Gull
16. Black Phoebe
17. Great White Egret
18. Pied-billed Grebe
19. Sora
20. Wilson's Warbler
21. Lincoln's Sparrow
22. Downy Woodpecker
23. Long-billed Dowitchers Not really sure if long or short, but this is freshwater
24. Blue-gray Gnatcatcher
25. Black-necked Stilt
