You do tend to get a bit blase about Stellers after a while ( although they never stop being stunning birds ) and the sight of Red-crowned Crane displaying in a snowy landscape is something that burns itself permanently into your memory. There's quite a few potential armchair ticks on your list so far ( dunno about Pacific Kittiwake though ).p.s. The Fieldfare is a brilliant find.
