I agree with you about Ludlow's Fulvetta - I should have mentioned that. Both Streak-throated and Brown-throated are dull names for such delightful little birds. But what's a Juniper Finch?
If they're going after eponyms, they're going to have a hard time replacing the names of species named after people like Blyth, Gould and Temminck - there are so many of them.
I must also agree with KC that this series of threads has featured some great images of relatively little-known species. I hope you have more for us,
