Hi,

This is my first post on birdforum.
Sorry for the extremely low quality photos taken with a cheap phone through binoculars.
Bird was bigger than a pigeon, sitting for over 30 minutes in the top of this pine tree.

Don't worry, your images are far better than many which appear on this forum hoping for an identification!

Does it serve to enlarge the photo to some degree as compared to using the phone lens only? If so, I must try it in the field because carrying around a camera all the time is a bit of a nuisance (and I don't think the quality would be so much worse, anyway).
