ID request - Southwest Colorado (1 Viewer)

Greetings folks,

From southwest Colorado. The wife and I do a fair amount of birding, in between our other endeavors.

I was hoping someone here could assist in an ID for a buddy of mine. This bird was in Ogallala, NE. Taken a few days ago.

Hopefully we won't feel too stupid once we get the answer. Thanks in advance folks.

What I can see is consistent with a juvenile European starling.

Agree with Steve - it is certainly a juvenile European Starling.

No need for feeling stupid for asking, this is in part what this forum is for. Agree, here is a pic I took the other day of a juvenile starling

Juvenile Starlings is probably in the top two or three of birds that cause the most confusion.
