Hello having left my bird book on the flight out here Im struggling even more. Can I have Ids please.
1. Not sure. 2. Rufus-naped Wren. 3. Collard Forest Falcon with kill. All photographed this morning 10th May in the gardens of the Bouganvillea Hotel near San Jose. Mike

Yes on 2 and 3, congratulations on the Forest-falcon!

1 looks like a flycatcher of the social F/Kiskadee lookalike group.

Immature Bicolored Hawk and Collared Forest Falcon can be a tricky pair. I think eg the shape of the border between black & white behind the eye makes this look more like Bicolored to me but if anyone can point to a smoking gun feature that says otherwise I'd be more than happy to revise my opinion.

According to field guides the color of the bare skin in the face points to CFF (greenish) over BCH (yellow)
