If you could have only ONE binocular ? (no list). (1 Viewer)

Agreed; I love the way the Ultravid series looks and feels, and I find the way its optical design renders images to be beautiful; there's an unstressed and relaxing quality to it that's difficult to describe. (And although I've become used to the rolling-globe effect of field-flattening in other binoculars, I still prefer panning with the UV's old-school pincushion distortion.)

Probably there's some new-toy bias since it's the newest one to arrive, but if I had to choose one binocular, this Silverline would have to be it; the build quality is confidence-inspiring, it packs 42 millimetres of premium glass in a package that's barely any heavier and bulkier than most high-end 32s, and it just has that aura of being something special.

For me, they're without question the most-appealing ones to pick up, and would be the most difficult to part with. Unless I got my hands on the 32-mm Safari version, maybe...

Ya killing me here 🙄. Now I’m going to need one of these, if not the Silver line at the very least the BL. Does anybody know if they made BL and Silverline in HD+?

It seems that Blackline model switched over to the HD or HD+ spec in 2018:

These silver ones are HD+ for sure, though. :)

Wow, gorgeous. Leica makes art.

Well I wouldn't say "no" to them, at least. :D

Although the metal/leather and standard rubber-armoured versions in 32 mm are no less appealing to me, either. Looks-wise, the compact Ultravids are my absolute favourites.
Who could argue with that. Wait we’re on BF bino sub forum, wait for it , wait for it 😝.

Digging the bag in the background. What can you tell us about that?

The bags are beautifully made. Back in my film days I tried their field bag. But heavy…. So I’ve long been a fan of Domke. Still use one when traveling
