It is a beautiful 'piece' SolitaryV...and out of much 'artwork' on sale at Bourton on the Water...i picked out the Wharton Lang...[think i must have only been about 14years old...a fledgling birder at the time]!...so even 'that' far back my eye was being drawn to unusual..but natural 'forms'...

ps...i would love to collect other artists works but i've never had the money....[whatever i have...goes on birding]!...priorities...etc...

Only a few images after managing to get out into field for an hour or so today..

Just thought i'd show you some of the local habitat...[don't know why]...!

ps...haven't done any tinkering...i just reveled in the landscapes that i came across during my wandering...

pps...even saw a few birds..:eek!:...willow and coal tits quite immaculate in the leafless growth...etc...[and an excellent jay that refused to take to wing in one pic that would have made a nice image...tis the 'blue' background tree...the jay is in the top left]..believe me or not...!

ps...i added one white 'dot' to that Bruegal 'wall'...[your eye should be drawn towards 'it'...or maybe that's just my eye]...?:smoke:

Expect this thread to go very quiet soon...as i prepare to depart to warmer and 'birdier' climes.....can't flippin wait!
Tho i can usually drag some morsel of creative comfort from even the most grey toned urban world that i sometimes inhabit...i must say..i'm looking forward to a totally new environment....

Be interesting to see what sort of 'thing' will catch my eye in Cuba....[apart from the birds obviously]...

ps...have seen two very inspirational programs recently on 'the box'....
'The Wonders of the Solar System'...and tonight's 'Horizon' prog on the universe....all very interesting...if you like that sort o thing...

pps...[note to self]...must get to see the aurora borealis one day...plus...discover what 'dark energy' is....?...[ha]...! Tis 'nothing'...apparently....:smoke:

ps....this image was taken many moons ago....have only tweaked the color....! What it represents is in the eye of the beholder....i kinda think it's fun...

An hour 'in the field' today...[and in one field found some 'interesting' rubbish]...!

ps...i might put the 'apparent' broken glass fish image with the 'shadow-fish' from earlier....[or i may not]...
