Hi all,
Any ideas on what this large, brown raptor might be (seen this morning near Arusha National Park, northern Tanzania)?
My initial guess is an immature palm nut vulture or bateleur, but I've never seen an immature or sub-adult before. There are few other raptors in Birds of East Africa with a pinkish face. I've attached a few poor photos of it flying off as well, to give a feel for flight and tail patterns.
Thanks!
