These are a few pic's I took with my Kodak point and click last year Sid,so you can get decent Photo's from them!..........Laurence :)
A friend of mine has actually just given me a Kodak p880 easyshare as he wasn't using It, so I'll try this camera out to see what result's I get.

Half hour along sandhaven at dinner time, dozen sanderling along the beach, 20 oystercatchers near mangoes, rock pipit picking at the washed up seaweed, about 120 pink footed geese flew north, great norther diver opposite the sand dancer pub.:t:

clumsy bird scarer
100 pinkies flew over the house about 5 pm heading north. red throated diver was on shields beach on sunday in front of the lifeguard hut

Called into trow on my way home today, 20 oystercatcher and 2 sanderling on the beach near trow point, pied wagtail on the dunes. Half dozen house sparrows in the main bowl, first ones i've seen there this year. Kestrel was hunting for worms again, got some of my best views of it today, gorgeous bird. A dog walker asked if it belonged to me, it landed that close.:t:

You''ll have to bring some food next time and you'll have it feeding out of the palm of your hands.

walk to barmston pond, watched b-h gulls diving into the water like terns, is that normal? seemed to be a feeding frenzy.
walked back along the dis-used railway line only thing of note was gold crest,on the south tyneside side :)

Called into the marine park before work this morning. Usual number of mutes, loads of tufties, 12 pochard 8 of them male, small flock of long tailed tits, male great spotted woodpecker seen and another one heard.

The Wildplaces Project has been capturing fantastic footage and images of wild mammals in our urban areas over the past 2 years, including the now infamous Jarrow otter! Find out all about our native mammals and see some of the exciting footage of animals that are closer to home than you might expect.
This is a South Tyneside Council Countryside Team event.
Venue: Library Theatre, Central Library, Prince Georg Square, South Shields. NE33 2PE.

There’s no need to book, all are welcome to just turn up on the night.
