Goodness me. I didn't know there were so many species either! Yes looks like a mayfly alright. Never seen one this tiny though. Looking at that link they go down to 5mm in length!

Ah now with a better resolution screen I can see the tail "streamers"; the apparent lack of them puzzled me before.
