better pics now added via photobucket......

there has also been some sparrows flying down to feed this bird....could this be an albino sparrow?

When you say sparrow do you mean House or Hedge Sparrow? The bill looks quite slender in the pics. Almost certainly it will be the same species as the birds feeding it at this time of year - it is a question of what species is that.

i have been told that the sparrows are not nesting in the hedge so from that they must be house sparrows.....but there is also a pair of blackbirds nesting in the tree near by...

Is it just me or did anyone else get ''spammed'' after opening Photobucket? Hate when that happens...apart from the Russian Brides bit.....NICE!!!

Probably House Sparrow then....

EDIT: just had another look at the bird (NOT the Russian ones, honest!) and it looks more Blackbird than House Sparrow....
