I would like to ask for confirmation if is this a Redwing? I'm asking this because this is the first time when I'm seeing it.

A heavily-marked individual - if it had been in NW Scotland, I'd be wondering about the Icelandic subspecies coburni. That's highly improbable in Romania, though.

Yep, obviously - but it does make me wonder if ID of coburni isn't as easy as sometimes suggested, with some iliacus just as dark and densely-marked.
