Fairly certain this is a Redstart, not a Black Redstart; and am very happy with that.

But how do you tell a female Redstart from a female Black Redstart ?

It is a Black Redstart though: much too grey for Common, with a dark throat.
I bet the primary projection can also be assessed from your photos which should help confirm it. I just haven't got the literature at hand!

Hello,

I am sure you meant primary spacing? This can be helpful, for example to detect the hybrids and separate them from "eastern Black Redstarts".
But this is not needed here, as I agree with you.

Underparts barely any paler than upperparts = black redstart.
Underparts obviously paler than upperparts = real redstart. 👍🏻
