The photo was taken on April 7th during migration at watch tower on the Bosphorus north, Istanbul

Agree with Lou. Accipiter by shape, blue-grey back and peach throat good for male sparrowhawk. Don't know if eurasian or levant, never seen the latter but should be in range for you.

It’s a Eurasian Sparrowhawk, a Levant has grey cheeks which I believe we’d be able to see in this pic.
