1) Seen in Como, directly next to a busy market place. At first I thought it was possibly an Alpine Chough, but then I noticed the leg color. Then I thought Blackbird, but I don't see any eye-ring. ????

2) Seen in Verona. Also Crag Martins? Or other?

3) Blackbird, with dark beak? My book shows an obvious red eye-ring for blackbirds, but maybe that's just for mating season?

4) Sparrow, Italian or Spanish? I noticed a bit more bib and texture to the bib on this bird than I had been seeing on most.

5) This bird was serving as a guardian of the Temple of Diana in Pompeii. When in flight, the tail was bright rufous above with a central black / dark grey stripe.

Thanks for the continued help!

Thirded. Blackbirds can be pretty variable, and regional differences can be quite marked
