With time to kill, I wandered around the grounds and inadvertently flushed a Long-eared Owl, which got up, drifted past me.....and flew straight into one of the hotel windows. It sat on the patio looking dazed for a bit but when I went back to check on it about 15 minutes later, it was alert and flew off strongly. It's just as well that owls fly so slowly.</p></blockquote><p></p>
