You're being purposely obtuse. Points were already made up thread and are quite repetitious at this point. The analysis remains intact flap rate is used commonly to ID birds from great distances there is no reason that videos of flying birds cannot be used as evidence.

If you are serious propose exact formulas with values for all the pertinent taxa and will we and we will review it all. As of this point I see no effective rebuttal to the accepted us fish and wildlife service Arkansas rare Bird committee and the 17 authors that one I rebuild woodpecker existed in Arkansas 16 years ago.

The Imperial Woodpecker video is an obvious Imperial Woodpecker your IBWO videos are a low resolution collection of pixels which can be construed to share some resemblance to IBWOs but ultimately also match PIWOs and there the story endeth.

Like to point out that up thread someone kept repeating that the Macaulay lab had no recordings from the Arkansas events of ivory billed woodpecker. Many of you likely shook your heads chin down forehead up chin down forehead up . Many of you then declared the species unconfirmed by 1940 or extinct 1940 .

Well by your own standards then push the extinction date back to 1968 when John Dennis submitted the tape to Cornell and it's on the Cornell site as ivy Bill woodpecker. So we have pushed back the species Extinction by 28 years using your own standards.

Maybe it's time to retract something about this way of thinking or to attack Dennis or to attack Cornell.

Obtuse .alert ....stop watch.....wing up wing down click. Rinse and repeat for affiliated woodpecker ivy Bill woodpecker and imperial woodpecker. After that you will see why the skeptics pages on wing beat flap rate disappeared with no explanation and none needed.

The Dennis tape is a Red-breasted Nuthatch. It shouldn't be on ML archived as such and I doubt it will remain there. Archived in 2004 when all this nonsense blew up.

No. Video of extinct amazing woodpecker versus videos of Pileated Woodpeckers. Where is your video actually showing unambiguously an IBWO, wait a moment... you don't have any.
