I'm back from 5 and a half hours or so on foot around the local patch (Falmouth) with 58 species in at times fairly miserable conditions. Was going to do the reservoirs too but sacked that in the end.

Have barely gone birding properly for months, so most of it was highlights for me; will post a full list up in a bit.

Just over 5 hours birding this morning in south Dublin and north Wicklow in some rubbish weather (Gales, Driving Rain). A couple of additions:

-Little Gull (5 or 6)
-Yellow-legged Gull (1)
-Stonechat (1)
-Great Skua (1)

-Hooded Crow
 
These are the bird species I have seen today along the Olt river, near Brasov – Romania:

Full day on the patch with 71 species recorded. I'll check for any additions. (Winter Moth on the way home was first lep of the year and Grey Squirrel and Roe Deer the first two mammals.)

I stayed inside as it was really cold today, but other birders in Serbia produced some interesting lists. However, eBird will show the breakdown only in the morning.
