I'm afraid that is STILL wrong Jonny721, this bird isn't in the lapwing genus of Vanellus, but is a plover. You will get it eventually folks, its just a process of elimination. ;)

Yes! o:D Many congratulations nick! I could have given a huge clue by saying it is very closely related to the Great Sand Plover. So there you go, Lesser and Greater Sand Plover. What about the next two birds?

Both are incorrect; number two is hard to see, but if you look close enough you should be able to tell what it is (its part of the bird which happens to be quite distinctive). ;)

You have come to an intelligent conclusion with the second bird, Jonny, but you are incorrect. The first bird isn't a starling, but you're getting closer. ;)

Ring Ouzel is correct Kentbloke, well done. But the second bird is correct, with the second bird Jonny271 was the closest, with his first guess on the bird rather than the second.

PS: The part of the second bird you can see starts with 's' and ends in 'm'. May help you. ;)

I'm afraid they are both incorrect. We can see the birds 'supercilium' or 'eyestripe', if you like. Hopefully that will give you an idea of at least what family the second bird is (I remind you once again Jonny721s first guess on this bird is the closest so far). ;)
