Hot hot hot - FAR too hot!!!!!!! :eek!:

I popped along to Druridge when I finished work, thinking that being next to the coast would have some welcome sea breezes.....not a chance!!! It was just as hot! :-O Not much in the way of birdlife but lots of insects - butterflies etc.

After Neil went to work I had a walk over The Pastures beside the river to look for the Demoiselles but couldn't find them. There's a couple of other spots though so I'll look there tomorrow or Thursday when I'm off :t:

After a grey and cloudy morning, we have had a sunny and very warm afternoon. Just back from walking the dog and the temperature is still above 20C....might be a difficult night for sleeping again.

It was! I woke up at 2am absolutely boiling hot despite only having a thin sheet on top of me and then it took ages to nod off again :smoke: That alarm certainly went off TOO early at 4.20 this morning!!! :-O

Never mind though, only working until 1.30 then off until Friday :t: Thinking about doing a boat trip to the Farnes or up the coastline tomorrow - there's a couple of local good companies and the prices are really good.....and I just love being on the sea as you never know what exciting things you might see o:)

A lovely summers day today, just wish I had had the time to have lounged in the garden and enjoyed it!
A cooling breeze this evening!

It was boiling hot yesterday but by 6pm it had all clouded over and I thught it might go misty. It was still grey this morning but the sun is breaking through now :t: Very hot & muggy night though - I woke up at 2am with my head absolutely soaking in sweat *yuck* :smoke:

Over cast from the start this morning and it looks likely that it will rain at any minute. OH rang about 20 minutes ago to say that it was tanking it down where he was and that's what's on its way here.....:-C

I've just checked my local weather and it looks sunny for today (but none of that unbearable heat that drains you) but then showery for the four days after that.

Warm today, and it is brightening up at the moment too.

Great weather to be out, and about! ;)
