Juvenile Kittiwake? Sutherland (1 Viewer)

Black beak, pinkish legs, thought they had black legs. Or is it just the bright light making them look pinkish?

Hello George,

you are right, its a 1cy Kittiwake. Legs of your bird is blackish, I think some light is shining through, resulting in this colour here. Even if not, some weak colour-cast is easy within variation for Kittiwake.
 
Kittiwake legs & feet are frequently brown, not black - particularly so in juveniles, but also quite a few adults too :t:

Yes, the light shining through those legs would definitely be pinkish, thanks
