Kenko Lens2scope Spotting Scope Adapter (1 Viewer)

I have a number of Canon L quality tele lenses, and I wonder if anyone here has tried the "Kenko Lens2scope Angled Spotting Scope Adapter" as a way of getting a spotting scope on the cheap! Years ago I tried using the Minolta 10mm MD eyepiece thingy, and it was dire. Very difficult to use. Just wondering whether Kenko have now made any significant improvements. There's a few positive reviews on the WEX website, but even at around £80 I feel a bit cautious.

I had one and I must say the Lens2Scope is the limiting factor and won't do justice to very good lenses. After having tried it with the Nikkor ED 4.5/300 IF-ED I can say it's a gadget for occasional glances if you're a photographer, not a substitute for a fine spotting scope.
It is also OK if you want to create a tiny scope out of a compact telezoom.
Remember that it restricts the usable aperture to f/4 with its maximum 2.5 mm exit pupil.
