Hello,
Could someone confirm these birds' ID?
Kenya, January 2025
Amboseli NP, Lake Nakuru NP, Masai Mara Reserve
Numbering in the top right corner

1-2. Speke's Weaver (Ploceus spekei)? Or maybe Vitelline Masked Weaver (Ploceus vitellinus)?
3-5. Brimstone Canary (Crithagra sulphurata)? Or maybe White-bellied (C. dorsostriata)? How to separate them?
6-7. Taveta Weaver (Ploceus castaneiceps)- females?
8-16. Also Taveta?
17. Unidentifiable sunbird female?
18. Unidentifiable sunbird female?
19-21. Identifiable?
22.Greater Blue-eared Starling (Lamprotornis chalybaeus)?

And by the way, are females of weavers and sunbirds identifiable to a species or is it impossible? If even guide books don't bother about comparing them, I think it is not possible.

(suggest using [e.g.] gimp curves tool to bring up colours, details. Otherwise the dark images +/- unidentifiable, at least with certainty)

Here are some of the dark images brightened. I think most of these should be identifiable, but at the moment I'm not up to trying.

Thank you! And do you know an answer to the question about weaver and sunbird females?
Are females of weavers and sunbirds identifiable to a species or is it impossible? If even guide books don't bother about comparing them, I think it is not possible.

It is possible in some cases. Unfortunately, I'm unconvinced the illustrations I've seen always help. So pay close attention to Macauley images.

The image 21 hasn't uploaded. Here it is:
(think it's the best photo of that specific bird I have)
