Hi everybody!

By way of a super quick intro - I'm a long lost Kiwi who has spent over 7 years traveling overland in Africa in my 30 year old Land Rover.

I've recently started to film all of my adventures trying to film wildlife, including an entire year where I was locked down in Namibia and lived in Etosha National Park alone for 4 months. I now have over 25 Terrabytes of 4K footage to edit which I'm enjoying. I've joined as:

- I have filmed a lot of birds across Angola, Namibia, Zambia and Botswana yet I hardly know their names or anything about them, so looking to learn and develop my understanding of them to increase my knowledge and the quality of my films. I was a complete 'bird virgin' before going to Africa!
- I thought some of you might like the adventurous nature of my endeavors to film Wildlife and birds? Africa has some many cool ones! Please feel free to check out my efforts in telling my story at the link below if so. I'm halfway through the first Series, I have another 10 to edit after this one!

Hi, welcome to the forum on behalf of the staff and moderators. I think you will find us a helpful and friendly group. The folks in the ID Forum are always willing to help ID the birds you see when out and about.
