I could have sworn that there was a thread for this idyllic reserve, but apparently not.
I thought this advert (spotted in the local press) may be of interest.
When David Dench said that Fergus (the previous warden) had upped and gone (at the last advisory group meeting) I kinda thought it was a little tongue in cheek - obviously not... what a job!

Interesting how some reserves have permanent wardens and other "flagship" reserves dont ....

It's certainly a fabulous reserve, but, from the outside, the cottage looks to be in need of a bit of work! Having lived in quite a few tied cottages in the past 40 years.....!
