Few ladybirds seen on my allotment this season,but in the ten days a number that have gone into chrysalis stage.Is this early or late this year with the very cold Spring ?

I've seen very few ladybirds until the last couple of weeks +even now modest numbers. Over the last 2 days out around London I've had a 2-spot, 5 7-spots, a 10-spot, 4 22-spot + a Harlequin.

Maybe the weather has kick-started their appearance in numbers !
