Where exactly and at what height would help: Large-billed Crow (really) high up, Jungle Crow in the plains. The tree suggest the latter.

Thanks for your comment. I took the photo 35 years ago on a holiday that took in the Himalayan foothills and the plains of Rajasthan so will try to rack my brains re the location.

At least you can exclude Large-billed, but then the question is Indian Jungle Crow (Rajasthan) or Eastern Jungle Crow... I hope you kept good notes!
