Hi all - Would it be ok to get clarification on whether this is a Yellow legged or LBB gull? I suspect the latter due to its darker colour.... but I’m hoping for the former!
im trying to learn more about gulls, so please let me know your reasons! Thanks so much for your help

I assume your pics are from across the pond... I didn't check other species, but I did look into Steve N. G. Howell's "Gulls Of The Americas," which features pages of pics of both species. Between Yellow-legged and Lesser Black-backed, it's a slam dunk for the latter. The dark mantle and wider tertial crescent rule out Yellow-legged.
