It used to be, they were well known for excellent optics AS WELL AS for being extremely rugged. Their recent Trinovid line is still a case in point. However, they were also lagging behind because of the weight of their optics. So, it looks like they overdid it as far as trying to make the optics competitive in the weight sector. And now, as more repairs are coming up than they ever experienced before, they don't have enough spare parts. Well, that's just a guess, of course, but it looks like an educated one.</p></blockquote><p></p>
