Lens choice (1 Viewer)

Hi, I'm relatively new to bird photography and would like to upgrade from a borrowed Coolpix P900 to something better. I mainly shoot at dawn near lakes if it matters and don't have a tripod. After all the suffering my choice of a body stopped at a D3200 that I have found for 60$ with an additional battery and a Nikkor 18-55mm 3.5-5.6 VR kit. Choice of cameras was as follows: D7000/3400/3300/90/300. I also found some lenses but got so tired already from all the digging, so that's why I'm asking for your help to at least rule out some of them. I live in Ukraine so European vendors either don't ship here or it will be like 40-80% of the total price, sadly. Previously I considered buying SX50 HS or FZ60/70, but I think that I can stretch my budget a bit and get something much better. That's all I managed to find:
  1. Sigma 135-400mm 1:4.5-5.6D
  2. Sigma 70-300mm D 1:4-5.6 APO DG Macro
  3. Nikon ED 70-300mm 1:4-5.6 D
  4. Tamron AF LD 200-400mm 1:5.6 75DN
  5. Tamron 28-300mm LD f/3.5-6.3 Aspherical 185D AF IF MACRO (pentax mount)
  6. Tamron AF 75-300mm 1:4-5.6 LD
  7. Tamron AF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 Di LD Macro 1:2

    Thanks for your time!

Hello. I am no expert but for bird photography good reach is important. Accordingly, I would encourage if possible to strongly consider one of the two lenses that have 400mm reach

I would have chosen the D7000 from those bodies. I have no experience with any of those lenses but agree with Earnest's reasoning. If one of the 150-600s should show up that would be better. Good luck!
