Will post images as processed. I'm sure many birders who have been and return in the next few weeks will say the same but here's my view. Tis island is beautiful in its own right and superb for birds and birders. However the people themselves and their businesses are seriously struggling. Tourism is 80% down due to the way in which the migrant situation has been reported. We drove all over in the week and saw not one single piece of evidence of any probe, aside from someone using discarded lifejackets to highlight the Meladia ford! In my view it is such a shame that sensationalised reporting, often incorrect, has impacted the day to day lives of such wonderfully friendly and accommodating people. If anyone is thinking of a visit for birding or just a holiday please go and support them. They have done a wonderful think for the refugees and are now losing out sadly. Phil</p></blockquote><p></p>
