The dMage has now been done.Regards our own sightings out at Sigri and Faneromeni today, there were large numbers of red back shrikes, we saw all 4 species, someone else reported 2 rollers this morning and a red start at Faneromeni Fileds, T found an Icterine and me an ortolan bunting. Other than that there was a great reed at the beach, a purple heron did a fly over, a few white throats punctuated a dearth of passerines. Everywhere is extremely dry and birding hard work, unless you love the place anyway. We had 4 short toed Eagles, 2 ll buzzard, 4 lesser kestrel And a common buzzard. A few spot flies were about. But it was generaly very quiet.</blockquote>
