Have done that, not fun!Presumably the April departures are favoured by the bird tour groups, hence the price/lack of availability.We went on 6/5 (more or less) last year for £711 for the two of us for a fortnight. No big movements of migrants, put down to timing but I suspect weather might have had more to do with it. Still bloody good though albeit the Rosy Pastors showed up the morning we left and the bus driver wouldn't take the coach to Mytilini Airport via the salt pan track so we could all get the starlings.We're off to Bulgaria for a change (first time) instead of Lesvos. BA flights to Varna from Gatwick £134 return each with 23kg of kit and  two carry on bags  each plus "complementary" drinks and food. We even get to sit together!Hope they're not on strike!All the best for Lesvos this year, don't book for a coupla weeks as prices should drop.Ron</blockquote>
