Little Stint? Essex, UK (1 Viewer)

I photographed this single bird at Blue House Farm in Essex yesterday and believe it is a little stint but it seems to have a lot of red aound the head which I haven't seen before. Is it a summer plumaged adult perhaps? Any guidance greatfully appreciated as always.

Agree with Ken. You can also make out the V on the mantle and the warmish wing coverts are right for little stint also.
