Living on the Headland (1 Viewer)

I was thinking when I come to semi-retire/retire in the not too distant future perhaps of buying a property on the Headland, a great birding place and property is not expensive, but what's it like as a place to live? friendly? nice pubs? I'm guessing there must be local birders living there.

Any input appreciated,

There are several local birders that live on the Headland. It seems friendly enough, no one seems to hassle you when you are birding in the area, even when you are peering into back gardens with binoculars - i assume the locals all know what's going on as there are so many migrant sightings.
Only been in one pub, which seemed fine - not sure about the others.
The area gets quite a few visitors at the w/e, so fairly popular as well.
