Took this in entebbe uganda last week. The only other lizard's i saw on site were Finch's Agama. Which this may well be, the other option inaturalist was offering was Ugandan Blue headed tree agama and I think I see some blue in the speckling on the head (and it's obviously on a tree) and colouration can apparently vary

Do you have any photos from other angles?

This is a male blue-headed tree agama.

Unfortunately I didn't spend a lot of time looking at females and Pawls et al. guide doesn't have a great picture of the female.

No just that angle. I found a really poor seemingly AI generated website that said they changed colour throughout the year. The other alternative would probably be Finch’s which is much the same pattern wise as your photo but bright red rather than blue so also not a great fit and the colour splotches on the head do seem to be blue.

I’m pretty sure I saw blue headed elsewhere so it’s only really a photo filing issue
